Everyone seems to be calculating based on the presumption, that if it's too late to get enough delegates to win, that it's too late to enter.

I disagree.

In the spirit of the Grizzly theme. I am reminded of the tongue in cheek story of the two hunters who are being chased by the bear, and one observes he doesn't need to be faster than the bear, just faster than his buddy...

I would like to observe please, it would not be too late for Palin, even if she were to enter the race after she's likely to win a landslide.

She would merely have to win enough delegates to deprive any of the current candidates, a first round majority.

Result: the widely discussed brokered convention.

It's clear, the GOP currently has no overwhelming champion. Hasn't, since Governor Palin announced she had decided not to run.

I say, she should run. With the unconventional but specific tactic, of running to prevent anyone from winning the first round vote.

Cause a brokered convention on purpose.

That's certainly unconventional in my book. :D

RUN GOVERNOR PALIN.

For America.

(and your supporters, but for America first)

At least discuss the possibility with the future First Snow Machine dude.

Thanks for listening.

Why not? The GOP is already a bad joke. Might as well go whole hog.

An intriguing gambit. Especially if things start looking grim, with Romney appearing to run away with the nomination.

I really think the headlines were overly dramatic and a tad misleading - after reading what she actually said in context.

And if I’m not mistaken, isn’t she a free trader - and aren’t you most decidedly NOT that?

I just watched her interview with Eric Bolling. Eric gave her an opportunity to say ‘thanks but no thanks’ when he asked the big question about running and she wouldn’t do it. She definitely left the door wide-open

She was on fire too against Obama

You knows what? I hear the liberals blabbering at work -- it's all they do. And you knows what? They're amused at the opposition. They're not panicked, like they were a year ago. They're amused, because the so called "conservatives" are wet tissue.

We don't stand a chance unless they're panicking. And the only person who could make them panick is Sarah Palin. Herman Cain did for a bit, but they knuckled him under. They can't knuckle Sarah Palin under.

I was very disappointed that she opted to not run.

As long as the liberal slackers are amused, we are so screwed.

I think if ORomney looks like he may get the whole thing, then I think Sarah will spring into action, weather or not she enters or helps someone Else take back the nomination from ORomney, I cannot say, be we cannot let the Whig leadership just through another presidential election, the fate of the country is at stake, and I don't think Sarah will just sit back and let that happen.

Palin pi$$ed me off with her games...but I’d vote for her before I’d vote for any of the current candidates.

With the unconventional but specific tactic, of running to prevent anyone from winning the first round vote.

What makes you think that is even remotely achievable? Believe it or not, we will probably have a nominee by Super Tuesday. That person will roll into the convention with delegates on their side and no interest in an outside person who comes late to the dance. Can you show me one example, historically, where anything close to this ever happened?

I want Palin to run. But today Rush brought our jeb bush. We’re not getting Palin. She’s not part of the American aristocracy.

She’s just teasing. Campaigns run on money, not wishes and dreams - and the RNC already has it’s guy.

There isn’t a single “tea party” candidate in the running. If Palin would enter the race, she would be it.

No one on the Right wants a Milquetoast Moderate Pubbie. A vote for a RINO is a wasted vote. Might as well vote for a dirty, demRat.

If the convention were to be brokered, does the R party have superdelegates?

If a majority is needed to win nomination you just might get a brokered convention yet.

Oh man, I love when this happens. All this hissing, spewing, weeping, moaning and, what’s that other thing. Dang! Can’t say that here but it rhymes with “hissing.” If Governor Palin shows up on the ballot opposite Barry, I’m voting for her. Not only that, I’d like to see her on that ballot. In fact, I’d welcome her being there. Get over it!!!
