I don’t own a cellphone and could care less if I ever get one. I am successful without it and I value that I am not attached to an electronic leash.
Yeah, I know some people ‘can’t live without it’, to each his own, I guess.

I could live without my cell phone but I don't want to. When I think of all the hours...... no.... days, weeks or more that I have sat at home waiting for a repair man or a delivery. “He will be there between 8am and 5pm” Then at 4:45pm you get a call that his last job is taking too long and you will have to reschedule OR you don't get a call at all and he just doesn't show up.
Now they just call me on my cell phone and I head home. Let him sit there and wait for me a few minutes.

You do know that you don’t have to answer the cell phone when it rings?
My cell phone is the handiest tool I own. Sometimes I use it to make a call also.
