Very nice story and a happy ending, too.
I live 2 blocks from my parents. Try to bring them at least 1 meal a day.
My mother has some dementia and a lymphoma cancer. The cancer seems in check but her memory is failing. My father had quadruple bypass surgery less than 1 year ago and other health issues. He is 86 and worked every day until this year. He farms and has a planting seed business.
Watching those two love birds is still incredible. Some things do not change.
