We should not immediately try to find fault with this new personality in the NFL owner's club, but rather think of what he can bring to an ailing sport.

In addition to excessive PC, the coddling of such perverse anti-personalities such as Michael (The Dog Torturer) Vick and wannabe thugs who shoot themselves in the leg trying to play gangsta, the NFL is suffering from malaise simply because it has been regulated and show boated into the land of yawn and nod.

In short, it's boooring.

Perhaps this new owner can invigorate the league with some multi-cultural diversity. Like, perhaps adding some elements of a sport quite popular in his native land of Pakistan (as well as Afghanistan and most of central Asia.)

I'm speaking, of course of the Manly sport for Manly Men - Buzkashi.

Played from horseback (Just think, no more "turf toe" ACL or MCL sprains!) Buzkashi dispenses with the silliness of carrying just a bladder across the goal line, you get to carry the whole animal minus its head, of course -

The foolish preoccupation with contract bonuses and the like would be replaced by simple rewards. If you win, you get to keep the goat and share it with the homies on your team, who for supporting your efforts each get a new turban. With all the Mohammeds playing in the league, that should be a big hit.

Those senseless lags in play for illegal procedure and offsides would give way to more straightforward rules like "not intentionally whipping another player." (We could always make exceptions in cases like Michael Vick, of course.)

Here ya go, a mount for the new rookie .....

Doesn’t matter to me. I stopped watching the NFL when the percentage of players with criminal records hit the same number as the average IQ of those players. I think Vince Lombardi was still coaching then.
