Beautiful cat. You're not going to believe this, but my mom's cat Ginger (a cat I actually acquired as a youngster) was born in the early summer of 1982 and lived until late 2001/early 2002. I remember when she was put down because I was pregnant with my second and had to go for an ultrasound soon after. She was the one that was 19.5 Her name was Ginger, but I called her Bijoux. She didn't really look like your cat, but she was kind of a calico/tabby like yours. I probably don't have any pics of her on my computer, but I will try to find one at my mom's and post it.
Well how nice for you and her that she was a stray and lived to such a ripe old age.

Indeed. She was very ill when we took her in, and it was touch and go there for a while, but the vet finally figured out what was wrong and fixed her right up.
We never thought that she would live so long. She is our longest-lived cat, and not likely to lose the title to my Rocket, but perhaps Lucas Prince of Darkness (a disgustingly healthy 12 years old [smiles]) will give her a run for the money.

OH! [smacks forehead] I forgot to remark about the coincidence of Tiger's and Ginger/Bijoux's being contemporaries and similarly colored.
That's amazing.
