A Nearly Almost Perfect Age To Be

A nearly almost perfect age to be,
Is what I've wanted from since I was three,
And realized that just a little bigger would be good,
As long as I could make it stop just where it should.

For what could be more perfect than a ten?
I look at all my fingers, and I cannot fit it in,
For playing games successfully, the perfect size to be,
Is just a little over double what I was when I was three.

The problem that I see out there, is everyone wants more,
Until they have so much of it it won't fit through the door!
So give me just a little break and let me stay this size,
Because it's nearly almost perfect when you see it with my eyes.

Very nice, although I’ll have to try to comprehend the scansion again after my brain switches on. 65 and drizzle here, the grass is growing as I watch.
