I don’t hide the fact that I am ardently anti-Cain. That doesn’t make me anti-Conservative, unless you are of the (mistaken) belief that Cain is the embodiment of conservatism, the next coming of Ronald Reagan, and so on. I spent much time criticizing the 9-9-9 plan. I may have been one of the first here to note that the plan increased payroll taxes on businesses since payroll was no longer a tax deduction outside of those empowerment zones, which would impact any business operating at a loss and any business with little or no profit at the end of the year. So would that count as a vile smear or not, the standard seems to change.
