Rasmussen ^ | 11/29/2011 | Scott Rasmussen

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 20% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -22 (see trends).

Thirty-nine percent (39%) hold at least a somewhat favorable view of the Occupy Wall Street protesters, while 55% have an unfavorable view. For the Tea Party activists, the numbers are more evenly divided: 44% favorable and 48% unfavorable. A video update shows Occupy protesters explaining why they think it’s important for them to stay.

Herman Cain trails the president by 10 points in a hypothetical 2012 match-up. A woman has gone on camera in Georgia claiming a 13-year affair with Cain. She presented phone records and other evidence of knowing Cain.

Other Republicans are within single digits of the president at this time. Today, and every Tuesday at 3:00 p.m., Rasmussen Reports will release new numbers on the match-up between President Obama and a Generic Republican. So amazing. The American people have totally rejected this socialist fool and the Conservatives can’t find a candidate to beat him.

There should be fifty to choose from instead of zero.

I’ve decided to register as a Democrat. If Obama gets reelected watch for the government to give preferential treatment, healthcare, etc. to anyone with a D after their name. Republicans will be persecuted. I’m not kidding. Of course I will never ever vote D.

the Conservatives can’t find a candidate to beat him.

The fickleness among conservatives is astounding.

The bi-polarism is killing us. First it's euphoria about Bachman, then mass exodus when she makes a flub. Then Perry is Messiah, but wait...he can't debate. Cain is flying high but uh-oh lawsuits are out there. Gingrich is the current savior.

All because of the RINO litmus tests. It's embarrassing really.

Of those who view the communist unfavorably, 76% feel strongly. For the favorables, that is only 51%. In terms of intensity, his supporters don’t have what the Democrats need.
