Now That We've Crucified Every Candidate, who are we gonna support?
Take a step back and think about it for a moment:
Romney? No, for reasons stated on this site and encoded on our DNA.
Paul? No, unless you're an isolationist.
Perry? Apparently not, since my fellow FReepers appear ready to kill each other at the thought of a Perry nomination.
Santorum or Huntsman? No, because they apparently aren't pure enough either.
Cain? Maybe, but many consider 999 to be 666.
Newt? After last night's debate, FR will lynch the man and serve him on their tables tomorrow...so, no.
That leaves Bachmann, who again isn't pure enough for my fellow FReepers.
So since we insist on nominating a Priest instead of a POTUS, my question to all here is this:
SINCE YOU HAVE CRUCIFIED EVERYONE ON THAT STAGE AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER.....WHO WILL YOU SUPPORT?
(or are we hoping that no one will have enough delegates heading into Tampa, thus giving us a nice little floor fight?)

I would support Mickey Mouse against Obama if he was the nominee. Inasmuch as the nominee will most likely be decided before my states Primary, I will support that nominee whoever he or she is. Those of you voting in States that may decide the nominee I would advise to answer the question”who has the best chance of beating Obama” and that is where your vote ought to go. This is one year where for the sake of the Nation, beating Obama is more important than ideology.

I am supporting Rick Perry because, out of all the GOP candidates, he has the most executive branch experience (12+ years), has governed one of the largest states in the union, Texas has created more jobs than any state in the union combined, supported the Tea Party before there was a Tea Party, is solidly socially conservative, has an amazing economic plan, basically wants to apply the Texas model of government to Washington DC (works in Texas, would work in DC!), can deliver fiery speeches and is JUST PLAIN AWESOME!

Last time the McCain comeback was complete before I had a chance to vote, also (tennessee). So i tried to spread the delegates around in hopes of denying a first-ballot victory to McCain (TN does it that way in the primaries).

Huge point you made there. NOW is the chance, before Iowa, to coalesce. If we don’t make dang sure that Iowa and SC bring out one strong non-Romney, we have to send a ton of money to him or her now. Or soon. Seriously.
We don’t have a Perfect Candidate. They don’t exist, and a lot of good people don’t want the job.
One of this pack is strong, conservative, and a refreshing outsider, and that is Herman Cain. He is bold enough to stand up to the media, and he’s proved that. He can do what we want, which is to tell and show Americans that constitutional conservatism works best for all Americans to have a chance at a good life.
Perry and gingrich have too much pity for bad guys. According to their stance on illegals, if they find a terrorist who’s had a family, or who’s been here a long time, why, it would be cruel to remove him from his family. Good thing they weren’t at osama’s compound with seal team 6.
Seriously, Cain could beat Obama. He is more real and likable than Obama. There is the same race so that becomes moot for all but liberals. And it’s the apolitical ( better term than independents) whom we need to convince. A lot of them have been hurt by Obama.
I think Cain is our best shot at besting Obama.
Wow...yet another Rodney King, “can’t we all get along” vanity. Why? Just because Newt exposed a stance on amnesty that many of us have been pointing out for weeks? Well it’s out now. So take a look at his global warming stance, pimping of WTO, NAFTA and GATT, vote in favor of Carter’s Dept. of Education (one of only 29 GOPers - most of them N.E. RINOs), pimping of Alvin Toffler’s one-world, anti-Constitution “Third Wave”, and on and on. Newt’s honeymoon is finally over. Let the truth come out.

So, by process of elimination.
Remove the people who probably should be democrats (Huntsmen , Commie Rommie, and blue dog Perry) and Libertarian and or strange (Paul)
and or the candidate that have not gained any traction.
Bachmann and Santorum. ( possible VP’s?)
We are left with Newt/Cain or perferably Cain/Newt.

Yesterday Beck essentially endorsed Bachmann because of a personal conversation he had with her the night before. I don’t know what she told him to have him discount the fact that Cain was the only candidate to attend his “Restoring Courage” event in Israel. But I am not comfortable to just take anyone’s word on who they support and until he gives us an accounting on what was said, I take it for it’s worth in that it means something, but not everything.
With that said, I am uncomfortable with her campaign jumping on anything any of the others say at a debate and have already put out a position before she even leaves the stage. She is not obviously calling the shots for the campaign because they are not permitted to have their smart phones to be tweeting during the debates. I see it as Ed Rollins still lurking behind the scenes while one of his chosen ones actually does his bidding for him. I do not trust Ed and never will.
Either way, Bachmann or Newt would be a good second fiddle to a president who would administer and not rule. Cain is the ONLY outsider with no political chits to pay off and I feel for this reason alone, with his business success background of results, will be the best administrator who knows how to collect the necessary information to make a non-political decision. The days of politics are behind us with only hard decision making to get us beyond the stat we are in today.
Cain and Bachman are the best so far...
Cain is a nivr guy, but he isn’t ready for “prime time”.
Only one has the numbers to make it happen.

I know I will be flamed, but I disagree with that premise. I would rather see Obama in office as a clear enemy than someone that is an “Obama Lite”. The USA can survive the ONE. It it comes to bullets, so be it, but it is time for a clear change.

I agree with that. Here's a VDH analysis that I think nails the reason why: Rick Santorum does great when he answers directly the question asked. The more he avoids attacking others, or curbs his exasperation that his often superior answers don’t lead to political traction, the better he does. But somehow such an experienced and knowledgeable candidate always seems frustrated to the point of vexation.

After that, its a WWE Raw mud slinging slur fest.
I like Cain. I like him because he is not a politician first. He is articulate. He is honest. He likes pizza. He has not changed positions for political expediency. He “never slept with that woman.” And I don't know if 999 is the best we can do with the tax code. But it is better than what we have now. He needs a strong VP and SOS for foreign policy support.
