I think so too about the Cary Grant comparison! He was the first one who came to mind, as I watched “Up in the Air.”

My favorite two actors from the golden days are Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman. I’ve never seen “Gaslight” and just ordered that on Netflix (with Miss Bergman).
