I believe that it’s FEDERAL LAW that non-citizens carry papers to show they are here legally, and entered legally. If this German clown felt he was above our federal law, he deserved a taste of Southern Justice.

BTW, unemployment in Alabama has dropped from 9.8 to 9.3% since the illegal immigration law was passed. 10,000 fewer claims since last month.

It is too burdensome, perhaps, to carry papers. What if someone is going for a jog? Alabama has made a choice. Wealthy immigrants likely do not find that choice pleasing. It is usually not in a State’s interest to hassle wealthy immigrants as they often provide jobs for Americans.

The German clown can make or break Alabama jobs, which really do pay a more than fair salary. And to demonstrate the lack of fairness in this episode....if a idiot American showed up in Germany and did the same trick...the German cops typically would escort him back to his hotel and give him one shot to produce the passport. If he still couldn’t produce the passport, then he gets arrested and detained.

This guy will remember the episode...the company will think long and hard about any expansion in the state....as will other foreign companies...and it will be page one news in Germany. I can already see the headline in the German paper....’the Gestapo state’.

By the end of 2012, and as the agricultural market in Alabama lays in a mess because they needed manpower but could never find an adequate source since the illegals were sent off....some folks are going to eventually ask questions. Less money made for the tax revenue pot....farmers deciding not to grow as much because you can’t harvest it completely....and no responsible politician able to stand up and explain the relationship of illegal labor to the state’s financial stability...it’ll all be apparent. By the spring of 2013...the idiots will meet in Montgomery and draft up a immigration-lite bill....which takes a huge amount of current language out, and still keeps a couple of threats...which makes everyone wonder what this was about in the first place.
