None of this says anything about the merits of the case (of which I tend to believe Cain) but more of an investigator wanting his 15 minutes.
LVA (Layered Voice Analysis) has its critics and they may be right. But this software is used around the world by Law Enforcement as a standard for identifying liars.
Sorry, but when law enforcement use this and it has a 95% success rate, I tend to agree with it. Don’t you think that it has been tested rigorously with a control group. Testing statements that we know to be true and statements we know to be false are all part of that testing. It’s not as good as pure facts, but it’s a damn good start.
