Yes Fudimo, I tried starting it early in the AM with no success. It then started in the PM.

Check the crankshaft positioning sensor wire to see if it's chaffed and hitting against some metal.
Also ? a over looked problem ? check your vacuum lines for any cracks or leaks.
This is also a symptom of your timing belt/chain going bad or worn.
