Let see how my cousin team 49es going do LOL!
It’s a good time to be a Texans fan! :-D
Tebow now 3 and 1 as a starter....take THAT haters!
BL Giants SUCKS they losing against 49ers right now
Oh, reeeeally, now? :-D
Uncharted territory never looked so good!
That was the most embarrassing game for TB in a long time. Kudos to the Texans, they’re going to the playoffs for sure.
LOL...I can’t pick ‘em ALL right....well except for one week a couple of years back that is!!
It does look like my second favorite Pats are SPANKING Bender’s way north ‘boys tonight though.
Go Pack, Go!!!
One of my sisters is a Bucs fan as well (she lives in Dunedin.)
We're cautiously optimistic here...we've been snakebit so many times (mostly by the Oilers) that we're almost scared to get too excited.
But we're starting to smile a lot more when the subject of NFL comes up...and I'm hoping for that piece of mail in December that season-ticket holders for contending teams get about buying our playoff ticets. :-D
The Oilers had the same problem as the 1976-1994 Bucs...really gay uniforms. ;-)
Did anybody miss me?????
That Tom Brady, he’s a real hoot. It’s halftime. Pats are winning a close game. In the locker room, Tom goes up to Bill, says “Coach I’ve got this! We’ll go no huddle the ENTIRE 2nd half. By the time Rex knows what hit him, we’ll be back in Foxboro!” Bill looks TB in the eye and tells him “Sounds pretty good to me!” Then Bill tells the coaching staff that “Tom is running things in the 2nd half. Just chill and enjoy the show!”
I can believe that happened. And it makes perfect sense too. See QB’s like Brady, Manning, Rogers and Brees have both the ability and the smarts to know they can run things on the fly as coaches on the field. Farve had that instinct too, but in his case it was more ability(and his receiving corps)than smarts, by a mile!!!
GO PACK GO!!!!
Try this on for size......
HOUSTON TEXANS 2011 AFC SOUTH CHAMPIONS!!!!
At least you’ll be 1st to clinch in the AFC. Hell, San Fran will clinch the NFC West next week with a win and Seattle loss....
Did you thank Mike Smith for that win yet???
Woo Hoo!...was wondering where you went to! Well I mean I see you on FB all the time but not on here.
Go Pack Go!!
Naaaah...really?
It’s the 3 “gigs” I’m into now. You know about the 1, working “security” at Cleveland Browns Stadium. Actually standing in front of the Browns Locker Room for 9 hours, beginning 5 hours before kickoff making sure the only people that get by me are players and team personnel, then keeping the media(many who I know)at bay until the room opens up after the game.
So the game ends yesterday and the area is as quiet as church on Sunday Morning. Randy Lerner(team owner)comes out, gives me a pat on the side as he’s walking by. The look on his face was as if someone shot his dog, or in his case wrecked his Bentley. I’ll give Randy some credit. I’ve worked 3 of the 4 home games and he’s been there all 3. Normally he’s not around much at all and is accused of being an absentee owner. Not this year, thus far. I’ve talked to him, Holgren, most of the coaches and players, at least in passing. Most are extremely friendly and don’t act stupid.
One of the Rams’ players wrecked his knee bad. After the game, someone started driving him towards their bus in a cart then stopped near my post and took off. The player is laying there wondering what’s going on. I see what’s going on, get to him and try to find some help for him. Hell, I almost jumped in and finished the job.... you could tell he was upset about being hurt but we’re talking and he ‘s real nice and wanted to walk the rest of the way with his crutches. I told him that it’s too far and I’ll make sure you get there even if I have to drive you there myself. He thanked me for the help and shook my hand as the dude came to take him out. I told him to heal up and get better quick. Nice guy though...
