All this shows me is that Newt got sucked into the global warming hoax in the early days and slowly started to question it over the years. How would this make me any more hesitant?
Cap and trade as well as the individual mandate were both ideas originally propagated by right-leaning organizations. Just goes to show that not all ideas are good ones. I commend Newt for acknowledging that not all the ideas coming from the right back in the day were good ones. As far as I can tell Newt’s economic agenda is solid and very conservative.
