You just hit the real reason there is nothing here. Herman Cain became nationally known in 1994. This alleged event happened in 1999, yet the attorney’s on both sides disposed of the case files...because it had zero merit. Here’s $35K, go Away.

There is absolutely no evidence of Herman Cain having an official judgment of sexual harassment against him. You can claim and charge whatever you want, but if there is no conviction, the act DID NOT OCCUR. Accusations must be proven in a hearing, and the hearings in this case determined that sexual harassment DID NOT OCCUR.

No one is talking about criminal proceedings here. This story has never, ever been about sexual assault or criminal charges. It's always been about sexual harassment within the confines of the NRA. Those claims resulted in cash payouts to the accusers. That's it, that's all there has ever been. No one knows what occurred for certain. All we know is the NRA decided to pay them off.

Personally I think it would have been better for Cain if any and all accusers had come forward and told their stories. It is better to completely clear the air now then to have this kinda stuff sitting out there waiting to explode on his campaign. If Cain was to win the nomination, have no doubt the media will dig up all these stories anyway.
