The rape of Juanita Broaddrick happened when Clinton was Attorney General of Arkansas--but he was in office either as Attorney General, Governor, or President all except 2 years from when the rape happened to when it became public knowledge.

Initially the reports on Paula Jones made it sound like she liked the attention from Clinton--she was quoted as saying that she wanted to be his regular girl friend (or words to that effect). It later turned out that that quote was made up by someone seeking to destroy her credibility.
