District looks very much in play, though I can't tell how much the last redistricting may have changed it.

In 2006, Barley won with 55% of the vote ( replacing long time GOP rfep Jim Nussle, who ran and loast for governor) In 2008, with the Dem surge, he won with 64% of the vote..Last time, 2010,, he didn't even get a majority, just squeaked by with 49.5% to 47.5 for the GOP candidate.

Is the Republican, Lange, running again?

Lange hasn’t officially declared, but he just announced an exploratory committee.
