What it boils down to is Cain giving multiple versions of what happened and what he knew. His story kept changing, and something that should have been out of the news cycle by last night is now on its third day.I think you are grossly exaggerating what happened.
I don't think so. Love him or hate him, Bill Clinton wrote the book on how to handle things like this during a campaign. When Clinton ran for the presidency his organization had an immediate and unchanging response to every problem they faced. Cain is out there winging it as he goes along, changing the story hour by hour. Either his campaign staff failed him on this one or he ignored them.
