Hope he stays warm. We got a little rain last night. Just enough to bring the tule fog.
Have a great day, Yorkie.
Thank you, Jaycee.
What a darling picture of Marissa and friend! Bet you wish she was still that age??
The description for that flower said it was a RED ORCHID! Maybe some hot country may have them. First time I’ve heard of it! LOL!
Same here, Amy. Yesterday and today! Very worn out!
*smile*
She was such a sweetie. She still is but getting the pre-teen attitude. She knows everything!
I am glad Jonah supports the Troops as well. He was always known to be a little grumpy, so I am glad he has a positive attitude AT LEAST as for as Our American Heroes is concerned!
God is not mocked. He says when we disobey we 'hate' Him. A severe word!
So ... we are to change our ways,
God is there to help us. Let us repent sincerely, asking forgiveness which God says he will give.
"Lambs can wade." Great analogy.
Thank you, for Today's Daily Bread.
So, JC - the red orchid is a PERFECT choice
to show support, honor and love for our Troops!
YOU have a great day, too, Amy!
Today, south of here, (between Phoenix and Tucson), there will be winds in excess of 50 mph! When the sand and dust blows across I-10, visibility can be zero! I wish they would close that stretch of highway, when the winds are going to be that high.
We will get some of it, up north - but nothing like I-10. Stay safe, all FRiends that live in that area.
SJB, I meant to include you in my post 310. Stay safe - ok?
WOW! 17,000? That is a LOT of pics, M-L! My pics are stored on my computer - I should look into storing them somewhere else. (I didn’t say ‘WILL’ - just ‘should’) LOL!
MY COUNTRY TIS OF THEE A gentle land between two seas Where mountains, lakes, and plains abound And rivers roam where ere they please Where fathers fought and freedom found From modest roots of rugged men Who tamed the wilds and tilled the sod Through every forest, lea, and fen With muskets and the Word Of God Let us remember history As many paid in blood and pain 'cause freedom isn't really free Too many died securing gain This land was blessed from up above Our standard is red white and blue We are the eagle and the dove We are the ancient and the new Now ease your mind of all despair And softly rest at evening's gloam Forever is our future fair My country 'tis of thee, this poem.
Thanks, yorkie and a happy Friday to you too.
— I was watching the weather forecast last night, gads!! I was going to bike down to the Farmer’s Market to meet my parents for some infamous crepes (we haven’t had them yet), but even though the FM is only about a mile away, I’m afraid to get caught in the “tornado” later.
I don’t plan to drive anywhere near that area today!
We had winds and dust in the air yesterday, but it was not an issue for traffic.
I have the same pics in several folders on my desktop, and occasionally I upload them to a flash drive just to be safe.
I appreciate it.
I fear mine is a child's work but true ..

STAND
I am dedicated for God and America.
A changing time is at hand,
let us arise and stand
praying God will send a man
to lead and keep this fruitful land
God answers prayers
Keep looking up and wait
for the work of God's grace
will be our fate.
Keep God in thy heart
Indeed, that is smart ...
This comes with blessings attached.
I loved this~~thank you for researching it. I just didn’t feel like it. Very interesting about the meaning, isn’t it? I’ve had it a long time and decided to use it today. And that link said you could order their red orchids year around! ((((HUGS))))
Awww...thank you, GG!
Thanks, Jaycee! I was very tired! LOL!
