I certainly agree with you there, teenie. And I’m thankful
that my kids grew up in great times. Oh how I remember
how I enjoyed those Christmas plays and listening to the
children sing all the songs that I sang growing up. The
political correctness hadn’t set in yet and those young
voices could express what the Christmas season was all
about! I yearn for life to be that way again.

Here is my take on the “Asia” thing.
Obama loathes the USA so much that deep in his heart he believes Hawaiian Residents would be happier with the idea that they live in ASIA rather than the USA.
It may have been a gaffe, but it reveals something deeper and darker in his psyche.
I shall translate the following for the rest of us:

It is very strange, M-L.....no national news on it - (only on the Weather Channel). The fire has now totally destroyed at least 25 homes, and is now estimated at 2,000 acres, I have heard.
FNC finally did post a very short segment on the wildfire on the news, recently - but even Drudge wouldn’t carry it.
I guess a fire has to devour an entire state before they will carry it on the “news”.
But, we wouldn't want ya any other way! lol
Daughter was telling me the Peppermill is offering rooms for $30 but if through the Red Cross they are free. (I suppose that would at least take your mind off the current happenings...for a few minutes!)
