Yesterday, a woman was on tv saying that they are doing drugs, pooping, urinating and vomiting all over the streets!

(Yet, 500,000 Glenn Beck supporters (NOT DEMOCRATS) went to the Washington Monument to hear him speak, and did not leave ONE speck of trash!)

I guess that's the big difference between the parties.....one shows respect for others, and other's property.....the other could care less about others - it's all about entitlement...GIMMEE, GIMMEE, GIMMEE!

Along a cottonwood tree lined road
dusty from the breeze so soft
where the cattails climb to loft
their tips of pollen weighted load

A tricolor black bird sings its song
in a voice as clear as the early dawn
another answers from the miller’s lawn
in a sweet voiced tune that echoes long

The covered bridge creaks in the passing
in counterpoint to the stream below
and in that moment of connection I know
all the feelings in my heart massing

A whisper of the zephyr touches my soul
a caress, soft as watered silk in the night
and I’m transfixed by a beam of morning light
washed by a peace that leaves me gently whole

Conor, I use two 23 oz. (small) Corningware casserole dishes,
as this recipe makes two puff pancakes.

I sautee cored, pared and sliced apples
In brown sugar and butter while the pancakes are baking.

They must be served immediately,
Because once they cool, they lose their puffiness.

The Soldier’s Code

1) I am an American fighting man. I serve in the forces which guard my country and our way of life. I am prepared to give my life in their defense.

2) I will never surrender of my own free will. If in command, I will never surrender my men while they still have the means to resist.

3) If I am captured, I will continue to resist by all means available. I will make every effort to escape and aid others to escape. I will accept neither parole nor special favors from the enemy.
