Clearly, the unit was not generating its own power. If it was, Rossi would not have needed to taint the test with a running genset.

In order for your theory to be correct, the customer would have to be incredibly stupid.
Or, even worse, the customer would have to be in on the conspiracy, some kind of shill. What evidence do you have to offer for your conclusion other than just your gut feeling?
