Cruz was more scared of crashing into the wall than he was of being the World Series goat. And the thing is, had he actually caught the ball he’d have had room to spare before hitting that wall. ...as he undoubtedly knows by now. He’ll be thinking about that for the rest of his life.
What was the deal with the alleged “Groin Injury”? Unless he needed to have his leg amputated, there was no excuse for not getting that ball.
Yup. Plenty of room for Cruz to make the catch. I’m not sure if he was even ON the warning track. Can’t blame it ALL on him, though. The pitching sucked. The Ranger’s managing was horrible.
