Oops ... and an exterminator bill from March. I’m sure they rebilled it and I paid it in June!

Oh my, don’t apologize! You have nothing to apologize for!! I can only imagine the turmoil his passing caused, and I am just so sorry for your loss. My father passed about a year and a half ago from cancer, and it’s still hard to take. I can’t imagine what you must have been going through.

Found it. It was mixed in with the medical bills that DP is studiously ignoring.

We’re going to have to go Out after lunch. I left some important papers at church last night, and I need to return some music I borrowed. At least it’s currently not raining.

I’d like to studiously ignore my bills, too, but unfortunately, all it does is make them harder to pay when I “find” them again. The concussions did a really nasty job on my reasoning/math skills.

Every few days, I smile vaguely and say, “Do you think you might get a chance to look at the accumulated medical bills in the next few days?” If it goes on too long, I escalate to, “Would you like the children and me to go see your employee benefits office about how to deal with these?” That gets action on the most urgent items.

It’s his blasted employer, and he set up the insurance policy without consulting me, so it’s 100% his responsibility, in my opinion.

We used to melt the stuff on the school radiators just for fun.
