I’ve got lots of real men on my Facebook. My cousin who runs a fire department, for one. There are plenty from my high school class, too.
I’m educating many people on conservative issues, and about Herman Cain, too.
Yup. I have over 300 friends, probably 230 of whom are apolitical. I post one or two thoughtful, educational posts on conservative topics a day, sometimes more. I think I'm getting through to a lot of them. It's easy to overdo it, though. I am thinking of cutting back to one a week or so.

Me too. For that, Facebook is invaluable, and people shouldn’t knock it.
If used correctly, Facebook is a vibrant area for contacts, information, and maintaining distance relationships. I get all the political postings, local events and businesses, have kept up with old classmates, and obtained customers for my business. I’ve kept in touch with a friend who is a private contractor in Afghanistan, helped out an old friend in KY who just needed someone to talk to, and made some new friends from Britain.
Facebook is the new neighborhood.
Oh, and I’m 51 years old.
