It occurs to me early this AM that they HAVE “their god”. Modern Monetary Theory that they base their economics on (but are afraid to publicly endorse) tells them that deficits don’t matter and that to “create public opportunity” the gummint must run deficits. They can create a “heaven on earth” where all dreams can be fulfilled and no worries about the expense that will never be paid. To you and I this is clearly delusional thinking. This is their “religion” and they are their own gods.
Hence the Beatles were way ahead of their time “you never give me your story (Modern Monetary Theory), you only give me your funny paper (fiat currency)”... Taxman... I could go on and on.
No, the deficits and public spending are only being done to collapse our country, so it can be reorganized with certain people permanently in power. The system they use does not matter to them as long as their power is cemented forever and cannot be infringed except via violence.
Once they are in power, the only people to prosper will be the connected (you see this already with Solyndra). The elderly, the poor, minorities, etc will not be useful anymore, so they usually end up as outcasts or killed, depending on the final system.
This has been done many times before, in other countries. They have been unable to do this in the US because most of the people appreciate capitalism and our representative republic.
So, they are working to destabilize the entire world which will drag the weakened US down with it. The islamists get the middle east and africa while the socialists get Europe, the Americas and Asia.
