If Cain, on his considerable merits, wins the primary race and becomes the Republican nominee, the fact that he is black will effectively negate the ridiculous charge of 'racism' against the tea party,

Which will the Democrats do? Will they (1) critically examine the evidence of a successful Cain campaign and conclude that they should discard their deeply cherished core belief that conservatives are racists, or (2) brand Cain as a self-hating racist black man who makes conservative racists feel good about themselves?

Which of those two choices will be easier? How intellectually honest is the left?

Like you, I support Cain, but I don't expect most Democrats to add two plus two and get 4, let alone examine their core beliefs.

They will call Cain a racist - period. This along with dregging up some female flea-bagger who'll swear she had a one night stand with Cain. She'll offer no proof, but the accusation will be enough. "I never came forward in the past because well, at 16, you're just too embarrassed about these things. At least he paid for the abortion in cash". Oh, the media will run with something like this (especially in southern states).

Think I'm kidding? Just ask that french guy who'll probably never step foot in an American hotel again. The press of course will make sure her allegations are proven false - shortly after Cain is forced out of the race.
