Newt would be great in a cabinet position...smart...the clintons’ took him out in one night...he folded like a cheap suit. He is also a DC insider...we need someone who says DC is a seedy place, Rick Perry.
Well I have seen enough. I am pushing Newt on my FB and on Twitter. He is the only one smart enough for the job and he is the only one with the experience needed for dealing with the BS that we call DC. In addition, people need to remember that it is not just about the economy. There are serious foreign policy issues that need to be dealt with. That being said, I want Newt to clearly say the BS about global warming is off the table and since there is no clear consensus on the issue, we cannot let the green energy lobby further destroy our country. The rest of his baggage, I could care less about. His greatest strength is articulating his positions and what needs to be done. He can make even stupid people understand complex issues. Watch last night’s interview with Greta and you will see what I mean. I was and still am a fan of Sarah’s, but I am now making an effort to look at the other candidates and by far, Newt is better than the others. Save it Cain people. There is more to our country than just 999......way more.
If the NH primary were today, I would vote for Newt.
Newt was, is and shall always be a Beltway Good Ole’ Boy.
I wish there were someone other that the pits poor selection of Republican hopefuls that we have right now.
It Palin doesn’t run, the DemocRATs will win again.
I hate to admit it but I have to agree..
I would like to hear his position on free trade ...
I could vote for a Newt/Cain ticket
I agree, Newt has the brains and he could get the fire going we need in Washington. He doesn’t need to practice for a debate, he has the answers for the questions in his head.
As for baggage, big deal, his background doesn’t read to different than most of the people that vote.
I’d vote for him in a heartbeat. We don’t need a Romney or a Perry. This is it folks, if we don’t get a conservative now , we are doomed.
and what will folk say when he keeps Hillary as SoS and does not repeal Obamacare but seeks to modify it instead?
Newt is also looking better and better every day.
At this point I’m willing to overlook a lot of baggage. We ought to get behind Newt, and fast.
Forget Cain. Take a cold shower and realize he is not going to beat Romney. Only a crafty old pro is going to beat a crafty old pro. And then Obama. And then the Congress, whatever its composition in 2013.
I’m reconciled to Newt. Onward.
