How right you are!!!
GOP = Gentlemanly Opposition Party.
Funny how Pubbies can rip each other apart - but shrivel in the presence of pure evil; aka socialist/Marxist/Democrats.
We really do need a ‘Dirty Bastard’ with brains.
Because Newt’s chances as POTUS are slim to none - the best team would be Conservative Cain and Nad buster Newt.

Newt would be great in a cabinet position...smart...the clintons’ took him out in one night...he folded like a cheap suit. He is also a DC insider...we need someone who says DC is a seedy place, Rick Perry.

Well I have seen enough. I am pushing Newt on my FB and on Twitter. He is the only one smart enough for the job and he is the only one with the experience needed for dealing with the BS that we call DC. In addition, people need to remember that it is not just about the economy. There are serious foreign policy issues that need to be dealt with. That being said, I want Newt to clearly say the BS about global warming is off the table and since there is no clear consensus on the issue, we cannot let the green energy lobby further destroy our country. The rest of his baggage, I could care less about. His greatest strength is articulating his positions and what needs to be done. He can make even stupid people understand complex issues. Watch last night’s interview with Greta and you will see what I mean. I was and still am a fan of Sarah’s, but I am now making an effort to look at the other candidates and by far, Newt is better than the others. Save it Cain people. There is more to our country than just 999......way more.

I agree he has some problems, which is why I think he is not electable. He is still a brilliant man and nowhere does it say that you can’t be brilliant and sometimes unwise.

We have to win the swing vote and because of his past Newt is highly polarizing and can't do well with that. Fat, white, rich male is the stereotypical Country Club Republican, not a good political choice to take down the affirmative action Halfrican. The bigger problem with Newt is he is a classic narcissist just like Barky, attracted to being a college professor, writes books, seeks out media attention. Narcissistic people are damaged people that are damaging to those around them. He resigned Congress because he was pushed out of the speakership. That's how narcissists behave. He's running for president for the attention! No thanks.
I support Rubio if he ran for number one, even though he's not ready. Cain does have swing voter appeal.

Newt was great as he always is because the guy has every fact at his fingertips. I think he must have a photographic memory. There is no subject or question that you can come up with that Newt is not conversant on. Its too bad that his likeability is not better. We are hoping he and Cain will team up.

There is something I don't understand about a lot of women voters. They flock and worship at the feet of soulless and/or butt-ugly female candidates who rode into power on their husband's coattails (Hillary) or money (Boxer), but they recoil into a fit of catty jealousy against genuine articulate self-made women like Palin and Bachmann. I know that part of it is natural libtardism-- they see big government as a substitute for the daddy or the husband who treated them badly, or whom they could never get, but I don't think it can explain all of it. Yes, we are all just a bunch of hysterical, hormonal, catty women making choices based on emotions like jealousy. How kind of you to point that out. Maybe we shouldn't be allowed to vote?

I agree, Newt has the brains and he could get the fire going we need in Washington. He doesn’t need to practice for a debate, he has the answers for the questions in his head.
As for baggage, big deal, his background doesn’t read to different than most of the people that vote.
I’d vote for him in a heartbeat. We don’t need a Romney or a Perry. This is it folks, if we don’t get a conservative now , we are doomed.

Chill. My comments do not apply to conservative women who think for themselves and admire successful female leaders like Palin and Bachmann as much as I do.
FWIW, My own daughter told me that women shouldn't be allowed to vote because too many of them allow the popular trash media to shape and mold their opinions. I disagreed with her. But not with her reasoning.

I didn't say Newt could win, but I will not vote for a candidate who is not qualified for the job (Cain) and I will not vote for Romney (Obama lite). I will work to get as many qualified people elected to the house and senate as I can, and I will still try to get people to listen to what Newt is saying. Newt is right about the problems facing this country and he has solid solutions. He should not be dismissed just because ‘we have to....’.

So that leaves us with Newt. Newt is looking better and better everyday.Newt is also looking better and better every day.
To: kdun
At this point I’m willing to overlook a lot of baggage. We ought to get behind Newt, and fast.
Forget Cain. Take a cold shower and realize he is not going to beat Romney. Only a crafty old pro is going to beat a crafty old pro. And then Obama. And then the Congress, whatever its composition in 2013.
I’m reconciled to Newt. Onward.
