what makes you so sure the country survived the first four years of Obama?

“a few elections”... How many? 4 years, 8 years, 16 years....20?

How much damage will be done? I'm sitting out local elections this Nov. Because there is no lesser of two evils — all horribly evil.

I believe Obama is so much more evil than any of the Republican candidates I can't not vote or third party while Obama and his minions entrench themselves even further into our society. If Obama wins, Obamacare will never go away. The Van Jones’, EPA, new taxes and spending will all run rampant. The justice department will do who knows what. I can't do it. If Nader had taken away votes from Bush instead of Gore—I can't even imagine Gore on 9/11.

Same in CA. I won’t be voting for Romney.

UGGGHHHHHHHH!!! I know I’ve said otherwise previously, but I do know better.

Will continue to pray and work for an alternative.

Totally revolting thought though. Totally.

“Does anyone here really think the Tea Party can “take over” the GOP as we once hoped?”

Not in 3 years. I figured it would take 8 years. But the results of the 2010 mid-terms were beyond my wildest expectations.

“Obama will lose no matter who he faces. He defeat is a certainty.”

Au contraire. Mittens will lose the election after the first debate moderator asks the Myth if he believes that he will some day be a god with his own planet and with people worshiping him. If Mittens says no he loses the Mormon vote and is branded a hypocrite; if he answers yes he is branded a loon and if he refuses to answer, the electorate will assume that he does believe the fairy tale. The evangelicals will stay home and the independents will vote for 0bama. It is the perfect storm that is being orchestrated by the DNC and the state-run media.

The people are hungry for smaller government and the two parties only want bigger government. Our Republic is at the point of no return from a Socialist Hell. 2012 is likely our last chance to turn things around. Let's keep praying.

I know you're feeling the same pressure I am right now. It's that slight, almost imperceptible pressure to compromise just a wee bit with my principles just before the establishment machine chooses our nominee for us.

Note how much attention and face time Romney got in the debate tonight. That's the pressure. They want us to see him as our inevitable and only choice.

I say to hell with them. Look at what's up there in the White House, and all that we've endured during his term. How can we even think of nominating anyone less than an absolute tiger, ready to rip heads off and cause bloody panic among the thieves and traitors on Capitol Hill?

We haven't even gotten to the first primary vote, and the anger is welling up inside me all over again. I can just feel us about to be sold out, yet again by the corruptocrats in Washington, and it makes me want to break something. Or someone.

We'll all go to the polls and vote for him, having been sufficiently cowed by the GOP establishment; convinced that accepting the lesser of two evils is safer than voting for a third party candidate.

Seeing that this crap works every time they try it, the candidates get more and more "moderate", with less of a difference between the two evils, every election.

Never will vote for a closet libtard again regardless of his VP choice unless he signs an agreement, in his own blood, that he will resign on day 2. If that means a sure victory for Obama, just remember this, it's better to die for a reason than to be a toothless old fool run over by a bus.

Sounds like my brother's friend's daughter who's “occupying wall street “ for the free pot brownies (that’ll keep ya happy!) and cool signs. A college graduate who always forgets to vote but oh well! Owes $50,000 in school loans but quit her job to occupy wall street (but doesn't know why!)

Last time we were stuck with RINO McCain.

This time RINO Romney?

Well, McCain worked out so well didn’t he?

Romney RINO should do at least as well.

Motto: “If you like room temperature coffee, you’ll like Room Temperature Romney.”

Or, “Romney...as appealing as last week’s french fries.”

Unfortunately the current Republican leadership is like the local church pastor’s wife who during the sermons, plays the piano and sings with the choir, but between Services, services any and all behind the church for $20 bucks a quickie.

You seem forgetting the SCOTUS. Yes, of course if we can get more than 60 conservative (not necessarily Republican) Senators, we’ll be safe. Otherwise, whatever the Congress decides, the way it goes today, SCOTUS can always have the last words.

As President, Romney would simply take us down the road to the New World Order/One World Government at a little slower pace than 0bama.

You say that like it's a good thing: the faster we get there, the sooner that little Tribulation thing occurs, and the sooner we won't have to worry about any of it! /sarc

Romney only if I must, but he's my last choice--even Paul before Romney!

Obama will win so it's all academic.

If, as likely, Romney's the nominee and I'm in CA where my vote won't matter, I'd think of voting for Obama in hopes of jinxing his reelection. I'm half-kidding.

I've never done it before but I'd seriously consider skipping the Presidential race on my ballot.

If the GOP takes Milt the Backstabber,
it is time to go against
the GOP (DNC political cross dressers).

“I’ll vote for Mitt Romney, the most liberal governor in American history, about the same time hell freezes solid.”

While I respect your passion, you are mistaken: we have Governor Moonbeam Brown here in CA right now Who makes Romney look like a Founding Father. Don’t forget that on Saturday, he signed Thr Dream Act to allow illegal aliens to get college free ahead of Americans in CA.

The key is to elect a solidly conservative senate and house majority able to reign in and overide any of Mitt’s foolishness. Start by repealing Obama/Mittcare.

I will vote for the Republican nominee, whoever that turns out to be. Romney is not my first choice (or 2nd choice, or 3rd choice) but he would still be a far better president than Obama. A vote for a third party candidate is a vote for Obama, so that is not an option for me.

When Obama was elected, I told a friend that for the 1st time in my 60 years of life, I feared for my country. Nothing that has happened in since then has changed my opinion of Obama...although it do breathe slightly easier since the Republicans took over the House.
