Don't ban me --serious Romney question!
Me

Posted on 10/11/2011 10:07:26 PM PDT by MacMattico

What if Romney wins the primary? Seriously. There is a chance. Mainstream politicians are lining up behind him. I know Mr. Robinson's strong views about Romney, and he is not my choice. But if he wins the primary, do we accept 4 more years of Obama and along with it supreme court picks, Obamacare, and another great depression? Does choice of VP make a difference to anyone?

Mitt gets my vote if he wins the nod, I just hope I have enough anti nausea pills to last his term.

VPs don’t do nothing, but the choice does make some symbolic difference to us (I don’t know what it is, exactly, but I did vote for the VP choice last time.) We’ll hold our noses and vote for Mitten. His loss will be all too predictable. His win will make little difference.

I’ll vote for him and send him a little money, but I wouldn’t have the enthusiasm to go out and knock on doors for him like I did for Sarah and her crazy grandpa last time around.

People will suck it up and vote for him, but he will be watched closely and opposed bitterly when he makes bone-headed lefty decisions. The idea of the game is to get somebody good now, but that’s fading so your question is a good one.

I would hold my nose, vote for Mitt, and pray.

Mitt is marginally better than Obama but don’t expect real spending cuts or any type of much needed reform to save the country if he wins the election. We’ll still be going off the cliff as a nation but just at 90mph instead of 100mph with Obammy!

I live in Minnesota where the electoral votes will go to Obama, so it makes no difference in my case. All of the joy of voting with none of the regrets.

I will never vote for a paler shade of Obama.

As President, Romney would simply take us down the road to the New World Order/One World Government at a little slower pace than 0bama.

If he picks Cain, there will be more of the Conservative base that throws in behind him.

Might even get some of the blacks to come off the Democrat Plantation. (Cain’s words)

If he gets the nod, I vote for Mitt and hope we get the guy that saved the Salt Lake Olympics and not the guy that built Romneycare.

Obama wins the election if Romney gets the nomination, imo.

I will have no choice but to vote for Mittens if he gets the nod. I cant risk another 4 years of Obammy and the Mammy by staying home.

Romney can be negotiated with. Obama...not possible. He is always on the gold course.

And what makes you think we could survive any better under The Myth? Is 200mg of cyanide less deadly than 400?

The consensus seems to be "Play the hand you are dealt".

But I ask... how many crooked hands from the bottom of the deck will we ALLOW the GOP to deal us before we revolt?

How Many Doles And Bushs and McCains and Romneys is one too many?

I might not vote for him at all, but you can bet your last buck that I'll be voting for Republicans in the House and Senate. I will NOT stay home.

It's Civics 101 and everybody on FR knows it, but we sometimes tend to forget: the problem is in the purse, and the power of the purse isn't in the Executive. We can lose the Presidency and still save the country, it'll just take longer. But if we lose Congress we're done. Consider the damage done there during the Democrat Congresses of 2006-10 and chart that against the tanking economy. They've nearly killed us, and they won't stop trying.

I’m in NY so my vote normally means nothing. But my dad taught me to always vote and never take that right for granted. And then after you vote keep that politicians feet to the fire.

I’ll vote for Mitt Romney, the most liberal governor in American history, about the same time hell freezes solid.
