Who won the debate?
Cain - 1st for consistency and directness followed by
Romney 2nd for style and decorum followed by
Gingrich 3rd for being the smartest man on the dance floor.
Perry fumbled and bumbled - great guy but poor debate prep
Bachman says the right things but comes off as a “Me too”
Santorum - the great spoiler lobbing grenades at whoever leads
Paul - is it me or are his eyebrows falling off?
Huntsman - .... Huntsman who?
romney makes me gag.
I am glad they all agreed that anyone there was 10 times better than Obama.
Bachmann blew it with her ‘turn 999 upside down’ comment. That is Paultardville stuff, not worthy of her.
Romney again. He’s a good debater and none of the candidates really call him out for his flip flopping, RINO past. Mitt just continues getting away with being a chameleon, and because he is a very polished politician he will keep on winning these debates if he continues going unchallenged.
I thought Cain did not so well. Took a solid hit from Santorum. Do we really want a whole new Federal Sales Tax? Tea Partiers like this? If Cain can include 999 in every single answer, why can’t Bachmann go back to saying “One.Term.President.” that everybody likes? Cain’s question to Romney “why can’t you fit your entire economic plan on a napkin” did not help Cain.
Otherwise no clear winners. Romney got a lot of airtime and didn’t do badly. Gingrich always does well. Paul did well with “what? Greenspan sucked” and he audience responded well then. Santorum might be auditioning for attack dog VP candidate. He really does attack well.
Romney /spit and Cain tied for the win. Grrrr re MittCare Romney.
LOL!
I think they get him prepared, the problem with Perry is he can't organize his thoughts and communicate them quick enough to ever really do well in these sorts of debates. He's just too slow on his feet.
Yes, his eyebrow was falling off. Really bad grooming for a presidential debate. Personally, I think the man is mentally ill - his face goes in about a thousand different directions when he speaks and he sends off powerfully weird vibes!
Vibes? Are you kidding? Really?
Hah! He reminds me of that crazy uncle that no one lets watch their kids at the family reunion.
Perry is completely tongue-tied. Not good for the President of the United States. Unfortunately, by tomorrow morning, we will be told by the Perry people that he was just brilliant and we are all just a bunch of meanies. Sigh.
LOL!
I really think he IS crazy. And yes, he does send off powerfully weird vibes, lol.
Romney’s politics - not what he says in debates but his real politics - remind me of Obama’s.
Likewise, Paul’s craziness reminds me of Obama’s...
That might be Paultardville stuff if you mean like a Ron Paul supporter. But Ron Paul himself doesn’t play around with cutesy stuff like that. Ron Paul will say “Austrian Economics” every debate, and only a very small number of people even know what Austrian Economics. Before Ron Paul goes to cutesy stuff, he would likely go through the “explain what you’re talking about to regular Republicans. I’m not sure everyone really knows what malinvestment is.
Doesn’t matter the game is rigged.....
He always has reminded me of Greg Stillson.
