Funny thing is that that isn’t even that old of a car (80s I’d guess) Its new enough for the fuse box to be on the dash.

My 1980 car was the first one that didn’t have the “can” button for the bright lights. I know that because when I drove it home from the dealer it was dark out and my bright lights were on and I had absolutely no idea how to turn them off. I kept annoying oncoming traffic the whole way home as I futilely stomped on the floor trying to press a button that wasn’t there.

I actually prefer having the control on the stalk, if for no other reason than those metal can buttons rusted out (at least in those climates where snow was common).

Looks a lot like the 74 Malibu I used to drive.
