I actually intended to commence a series of appointments in 2003 - showed up, the dental hygienist had left because of a family emergency. And I never went back.

Interestingly, the dentist claimed I needed about 15 crowns at the time and I was going to have two done. Now it’s 2011 and all the teeth are still there and don’t seem to have deteriorated.

I’m the type who refuses colonoscopies and prostate exams also.

My dentist personifies Rich Republican.

Plays Rush Limbaugh throughout the office.

I’m happy to support him.

Anyone who hears something like that from their dentist, if it isn’t obviously true, they should go get a second opinion.

First dentist told me once that two older fillings were getting loose and wanted to do a deluxe CAD-CAM restoration. Asked second dentist for an evaluation of my teeth and second dentist didn’t say squat about those fillings. I eventually had the first dentist fix a couple of obviously busted teeth, and he did a marvelous job of it with the CAD-CAM equipment which the second dentist did not have, but the other two filled teeth are still hanging in there tough. They still want to know, six years later, when I’m going to have them capped... LOL.
