If the primary schedule were the same as 1980, I would certainly agree with you. However, as it currently stands, two states (FL and SC) have filing dates that close within the next 31 days, and both are states she would be likely to win, which would give her a leg up on the field. OK, Utah is the first to close on 10/14, but that's no big deal.

Ir looks like 10/30 or 31 is it.

Then, too, she doesn't have to formally announce, just file....which amounts to the very same thing. Considering the investigative powers of the legacy media these days, it might be 11/13 before they realize that she actually IS in the race!

Now THAT would be funny! Can you imaging the heads that would be exploding to find out that she's been running all along, but just under the radar! I doubt it, but it would be funny as heck!
