The key word here is recently. The other poster stated Your behavior for the past I dont know, 3 years or so?
You and some others were certain Palin was running,
Where did I say she was running? Can you quote a post? My objections have been to the personal smears. Not ONE detractor EVER disagreed with her on any policy that she stated. It was all snark gleaned from the left.
In the big picture we are all on the same side and will eventually let bygones be bygones anyway.
I'm glad you feel that way but others do not and they are going to tear FR to pieces.
Why do you deny posting on Palin threads? Here you are, three days ago...
The title of the thread:
Sarah Palin: Is her caribou cooked already?

No trick: Christie, Palin face Halloween deadline
The filing deadline for South Carolina’s GOP primary is the following day, November 1. Other states with November filing deadlines include Michigan and Missouri, which require candidates to file paperwork by the 15th and the 22nd respectively.

Again, the charge was that I have been posting on them for the last 3 years. I have not.
I really made you angry defending her, didn't I.
Grow up.
The only one pinging a wolf pack is you. I don't need help.
You have a nice day.
Grow up. You are going to tear FR to pieces because of a childish grudge. Driving away Palin supporters is going to hurt the forum. We are in a very slow FReepathon now. Do you intend to kill off FR simply to satisfy your sense of revenge?
Oh come on, don't be like that. You know better and everyone that participated on these threads knows what you were arguing. I remember that you were the one that dismissed EVERY poll showing Palin had little support within the Republican party and that 2/3rds didn't even want her to run. People cited poll after poll pointing out to you that there was just no clamor among most conservatives for a Palin campaign (quite the opposite in fact) and you got downright nasty arguing otherwise. You were one of these Palin stalwarts on thread after thread trying to make the case she was popular and in demand. She wasn't, she knew she had no chance to win and wisely chose not to run.
I'm glad you feel that way but others do not and they are going to tear FR to pieces.
FR won't be torn apart. Time heals all. Everyone knows that the left is the real enemy and we will all put aside our differences in the end. But you and others should at least admit you were completely wrong about Palin running for President, and rethink how you argued your case. A cult of personality sprung up around Sarah Palin, and some of her most devoted supporters became blinded and absolutely hostile to anyone who dared critique the path she had chosen or her prospects for becoming President.
Those who expressed doubt Palin would run and pointed out why mostly operated out of logic and reason, many of those who were SURE she was running and refused to look at the facts were fueled by emotion and something akin to cult behavior. It was not healthy, but thankfully it is over.
FR won't be torn apart.
Then you aren't watching.
Yes, you keep saying that and your wrong. Polling is increasingly very sophisticated and accurate - especially when numerous polls are averaged together in something like the RCP average. Yes, certain kinds of questions are obviously loaded to produce a result that a media outlet can run with, but on very basic yes or no type questions polling is quite good. Even a Democratic pollster like PPP has called the last several races amazingly close - including the last couple NY special elections, the recent concluded NV race and the WVA governor election that just passed. These firms get paid for their work and have a reputation to protect - and they are increasingly quite good at what they do.
Didn't we all cheer GWB when he said he wouldn't govern by polls?
Anyone can say that don't "govern" by the polls, but believe me, GWB was 100% paying close attention them (as all politicians do) and tailoring his arguments around the results and conclusions his pollsters were making.
So that was code for Palin is running?
Come on, everyone reading these threads and comments know you were arguing Palin was running and that any evidence to the contrary, particularly polling, was wrong.
Then you aren't watching.
Meh, the acrimony will fade very quickly. Everyone just has to get it out of their system is all.
I was very careful NOT to make such a statement. But in the modern, liberal world, perception is everything, eh?
You have a nice day.
I imagine most of us on here would have gladly supported Palin. But many of us were turned off by the behavior of her more obsessive and rabid supporters.
You were one (of several) I had thought well of in the past but became disenchanted with your attmpts to bully people and the insults you flung at posters who weren't even necessarily denigrating Palin.
If I donate this quarter (and I have done so regularly and generously for several years) I'm making it a point to do it when you're not running the FReepathon thread.
I hate to see good people turn so vicious and I hope FReepers can get back on a more solid footing soon.
Thank you very much, Allegra, for your loyal support for FR and your devotion and service to our country. IMHO, it’s time to forget about battles past and refocus on our current battle. We must focus on ensuring that the most conservative candidate and the one best able to knock out Romney and Obama gets our full support. Our country and our freedom depends upon it.
ROFLMAO!
I was going to say that all I see in those blots were a ducky and a horsy! (Who knew) Hey, I know, they say “Palin in 2016! (Fer sher)
I couldn't agree more, Jim. That's been my focus all along. :-)
And thank you for all that you do to keep this site going!
Roger that.
This forum needs to focus its energies to select (in the primaries) the most Conservative and most Electable candidate possible (weighted towards conservative of course) and take that into battle against the common enemy in the general election.
This unfortunate episode is done and gone to the annals of history.
Does your parole know you’re on the Interwebs again?
