Am I the only person here who is emotionally moved by The Battle Hymn of the Republic?

Our church had a 9/11 tribute service last Sunday and I lost it when they started singing it.

Maybe I watched “The Civil War” (Ken Burns) too many times...

I guess I’m not the only one...

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, aka, America’s Choir, sings Battle Hymn of the Republic to Ronald Reagan on 1/20/81 at the Inaugural Parade.

We sang “America The Beautiful” at church last Sunday, and I couldn’t get through it all.

I choke up on the National Anthem at sporting events. I always have my hand on my heart, and I am appalled that so few still do that.
