I was quite the liberal (hated America) until I became a world traveler. No country even comes close to the USA. We are the most tolerant, compassionate, industrious, rational people in the World. Obama’s constant apologies to tyrannical powers around the globe are driving me crazy. Visit other places in the world? You bet,but I miss the US after a week or too.

I feel the same way about Canada, we have it pretty good here, except for some socialist crap we have to deal with, but overall, it’s not bad. Some of the best scenery in the world I’ve ever seen has been in western Canada.

I’ve also traveled a lot in the US, and I love the scenery and real Americans there too, downside was a lot of cities I didn’t feel particularly safe in. Then again I don’t like cities to begin with.

Ditto! I miss the US after a few minutes inside Mexico. The population of Calexico, Calif. is about as Latino as is Mexicali, BC, just across the border, but when you cross into Mexicali, the difference is huge. When you step into Mexicali and walk the rutted sidewalks beside pothole-filled streets filled with old American jalopies and haggle with vendadores trying to sell you trinkets, you realize that you have just entered the Third World.
