The next James Bond movie doesn't hit theaters till next November, but singer Adele may be the voice behind its theme music -- according to ... Adele.

I would not be opposed, but I would prefer Don Black writing the actual song.
I vote for an Adele and Shirley Bassey duet.

If it’s a good song, she’ll do a terrific job.
I would be more confident about the theme if it were written by an experienced lyricists. The women who supposedly is writing the the music for the theme song is a relative unknown, which is disappointing since Dave Arnold is doing the score. I would personally prefer that the theme song have elements of the score in it. That is why I would prefer Don Black write the song and Dave Arnold write the music. I guess Babs Broccoli just wants to get any fanny in the theatre regardless of the quality of product.

For my money there hasn’t been a good Bond song since A View To a Kill.
As Amy winehouse is not available she is my next choice..Great voice..
Would wish that John Barry would be back scoring bond films, but that seems unlikely now..what, with him being dead and all.
And I still like the casino royale theme song..I even know some teenagers who knew the lyrics.

The theme song David Arnold and Don Black wrote for TND ended up as the ending credits (sung by KD Lang)the song was called surrender and you can hear part of it in the pretitle sequence.

IMHO “Surrender” would have made a much better title song.
