The truth is, she doesn’t want to announce the truth that she is NOT going to run because her support and influence will dry up and she’ll be irrelevant except as a circuit speaker. Good money there, but the camera goes away. She doesn’t have the infrastructure or the funding to launch a campaign, and I personally think it’s pretty sorry how she is leading a bunch of good people on.

There are so many things wrong with that statement that I do not know where to begin. Palin already has the contract with Fox News and stands to make plenty of money even if she doesn't run. She is not making "extra" money by keeping us in the dark about her plans. In fact, she turned down millions of dollars to renew the "Palin in Alaska" TV show - why would she turn that easy money down if she wasn't planning on running and was only interested in money?

If Palin gets into the race, infrastructure and funding will not be an issue.

It’s not about $$. It’s about relevance. If she doesn’t get in, she loses relevance. She’s hanging on as long as she can. She’s just another lobbyist...a tea party lobbyist. As for Fox News, all they care to ask her is if/when she’s going to run. No one needs Sarah Palin telling them how to think, and she knows this. Right now she is hanging on to relevance through a tease that she’s going to run and shake things up in the race. When she doesn’t — and she won’t — she’s not important anymore.

“Palin already has the contract with Fox News and stands to make plenty of money even if she doesn’t run. “

So did Newt, and he gave it up to run for President, and has since shone in several debates as a very sharp cookie and someone who could easily lead this country.

He made his choice, his commitment and his decision. That’s what leaders do.

“why would she turn that easy money down ..”
If she is called to lead by running for President, turning the money isnt just the right choice, it would almost be easy. Country first, right?
