Why no stars and stripes at Google? Oh wait. They are anti-American "globalists." Wouldn't want to offend the Mooslimbs.
Give it up.
They have a black ribbon on the site. Somber. Appropriate.
Freddy Mercury's 65th birthday google doodle, 5 days ago:
Sheesh, my response was not in the form of a insinuating rebuttal but a question meant to simply ask what the form of 9/11 commemoration it was trying to convey. Never mind.
Did you see the elaborate video for Freddy Mercury’s birthday? They have fancy doodles for the most trivial things, but for 9/11 they add a black ribbon and three words. That must have taken all of .5 second to do. Pathetic, but frankly, I’m surprised they remembered at all.
Google has always decorated their sites around the world in commemoration or memorial, that's why.
Anyone who would use Bing to protest Google's supposed politics seriously lacks clue. Might as well use Yandex instead.
WSJ: Bill Gates to vote for state income tax on rich
Arthur Laffer wrote:
Framed on a wall in my office is a personal letter to me from Bill Gates the elder. "I am a fan of progressive taxation," he wrote. "I would say our country has prospered from using such a systemeven at 70% rates to say nothing of 90%."
Fortunately, Initiative 1098 went down to defeat.
They also removed the peace icon after Obama became president.

You are being a little over blunt, there. How about you suggest what I should use instead?
Yandex? We get better US news out of Russian than our own house organs. Why not search through a Russian company?
It’s too difficult to change daily habits based on a perceived political persuation.
So I don’t try. I just write praise here an elsewhere for the people who we need in office.

They clearly did not want a US specific doodle to mark 9/11.
Just a black flag ribbon.
My point is that it's pointless to choose technology products and services based on the politics of the company owners and employees. Or even national origin I'll use Yandex when and if it works better.
IOW, I'm not going to avoid Google because its bosses are into silly green tech. Nor am I going to avoid Microsoft stuff because Mr Bill and his daddy are big libtards. Nor Apple because their home page today promotes their latest products with no mention of 9/11.
Bing it!
I just went on Google and NOTHING!!! It’s the same old Google logo!!! OMG!!! TYPICAL DEMOCRATS.....UNPATRIOTIC!
There are none at Free Republic's home page either.
Boycott this failing. Go away and never return.
Google’s “Doodles” are typically irreverant/silly/etc. They simply don’t do “doodles” for somber/serious events. I have no problem with their understated approach - I agree with the Freeper above who described it as somber and appropriate.

Beautiful picture on Bing.com! That’s why they’re my search engine.
