In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".

And then it’s a direct mail piece to every senior citizen in America next October.
It’s almost too easy for Team Obamanation.
I think her hair looks nice. It’s washed and brushed, which is a change for her.
Wasting money on direct mail to entitlement voters is fine by me.
It’s more than offset by the under 30 votes Team Obamanation loses by defending it.
The numbers in the race are straightforward.
Without Max turnout, Max Minority turnout, it goes the other way.
Unemployment alone kills that.

Are you in NY State? Your name says that to me. Possibly VT?
I’m over in NY visiting and I’m astounded at the flood damage here. Roads are closed and bridges are washed away. Creeks are filled with dirt and yards are filled with river rocks. Huge trees are still in the creek beds.
