You and I part company on every utterance from the other, but boy am I with you on this one. COD is harmless, not politically as astute as she should have been, but what echos in my mind is that she was AHEAD in that race! That is, before the Rove & Co., Establishment hired on to save Castle and destroy her? Christine was as true an example of citizen representation as I’ve seen, who did not come up through the “machine”. A shoe string and nothing. She couldn’t afford real handlers, consultants and advisors and that is probably what killed her campaign against the RINO establishment. Since then, it seems every one has to be seen throwing stones at her to prove their own testosterone.
I still don’t get what was behind the horror of the Palin handlers to Christine’s appearance in Iowa either. Was that even true? The thing was over dumping COD from the event? A threat to whom exactly could a banished former candidate, who is running for nothing, be? COD is trying to rehabilitate her image, sell a book and make a few friends. Who should care, really? The girl does have a story to tell. Good for you to end the unnecessary bashing.

She was never ahead in that race. There was ONE poll, taken months before the primary vote, where she was 2 points ahead with a huge number of undecideds.
At no point in the last three months before the election did she come close to being ahead of Coons.
