You’re right about that. I just got some packs of fresh yellow squash put in the freezer (husband has an organic garden).
Shoot! I KNOW I could just throw up my hands and be too lazy to do much of anything; but, I couldn’t stand myself if I did. I’d rather be the busy little ant instead of the lazy grasshopper (like in the story). Just a little work every day keeps the wolf away from the door.
Self-respect. Everybody needs it. I think LBJ had a cynical attitude about the black voting bloc; so they bought votes in exchange for keeping them down on the plantation. What a horrible thing to do for power!
This is also the type of patients many of us RN’s care for on a daily basis in our nation’s hospitals. They are as full of themselves in the hospital as they are here on the video.
