Good luck with that term-limit thing there Brice. That’s a real priority these days.
It was white California liberals and white California businessmen that destroyed California. Unchecked immigration is the symptom, not the disease.
It would be those who blindly hate. Is there something I am missing in the definition? If so, please advise.
One of the amnesty plans was that the illegals would get to stay here in the country, but be put in “line” on the immigration request roles with all the others. That would satisfy Palin’s comment, but was hardly something supported by most of the people here.
Illegals have to attend and graduate from a TX high school for three years to quality.
I think. :)
That person, a visible Perry supporter, posted a flame war thread! I, as one of Sarah Palin’s Ping List holders do not bash, trash or otherwise post negative articles about candidates I’m not fully supporting! In fact, I rarely post on other candidate threads, and whenever I do, I usually have something good to say or I ask I question.
I pinged Jim to my post, so that he would pull it if he had a gripe, but also to inform him that flame wars were about to commence. Unbeknownst to you, discussion took place on the FReepathon thread today about nasty posters and those posters won’t be around too long, if those posts continue.
The last thing we need are incited flame wars. No matter who becomes our evbentual nominee, as long as the nominee is TEA PARTY CANDIDATE, IT WILL BE OUR DUTY TO RALLY ROUND AND SUPPORT THE CANDIDATE, which of course, exludes Romney.
Governor Perry is unknown to me, save for Sarah endorsing him over KayBailey-Hutchinson and that Ron Paul hack, Debra Medina.
My support remains with Governor Palin because I truly believe she is running!
Again, I am OPEN to learning, but not open *at this time* to supporting anyone but Sarah Palin.
I would be interested in seeing where I’ve trashed Palin, yes.
Ping!
And, proven to be the most polarizing and unfavorable political of the recent past. Thanks, but no thanks!
Thank you for your work.
Thank you for your work.
Neither Perry nor Palin did well in the NumbersUsa ranking. Perry got a D-. Palin did better, she got a D. The best candidate was Bachmann — she got a B-.
Perry actually got a “good” rating for “secure the borders” — Palin got “excellent”. Beyond that, neither were all that good to the NumbersUsa folks.
One problem was that neither candidate had public positions on several of their hot-button issues.
Of course, Palin isn’t a candidate yet, and Perry just became one. I expect Perry will have his platform out soon enough, and Palin will publish a platform if and when she enters the race. Then we can see what they have in mind for immigrants as President.
No. We will not.
On the issue of amnesty, Governor Perry addressed a 2008 Governors Conference in Miami and made this statement: I hope that there are 43 Republican Senators, and some thoughtful Democrats who realize that if you want to be an American citizen heres the way you do it you need to get in line just like everyone else. Go get in that immigration line like everyone who came before you. Now do we want to have sensible immigration policies that allow people who want to come into our state and work. Absolutely. Secure that border, have a sensible immigration policy, and if you want to be a citizen of the United States, theres the line. But to go give 13 million people a citizenship because you came here illegally is is Asinine!
No. We will not.
No. We will not.
Perry said the Arizona law wasn’t something he thought Texas would adopt. He said Arizona could do what they wanted, because he believed in State’s Rights.
No, dude. Read it again.
That is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. You support the Presidential candidate’s agenda. But, you don’t parrot their position as their own.
Perry rated “Good” on Border Security by NumbersUsa, in an otherwise dismal showing. SO even the adamant anti-illegal-immigrant groups don’t buy your “open borders zealot” argument.
