Even my #43 does not contradict anything you are saying. My wife does play spoiled automotive idiot and it (no longer) upsets me.
Over the years we have learned each others strengths and weakness and have learned to look after one another in our own way. I think we are lucky.

Maybe it was your choice of words that caused me to go witchy - but-
It sounds patronizing, condescending to say regarding someones’s deficits and lack of skill in certain areas, regardless of sex - that she is “playing” a part as if she is faking, acting, manipulating you to get you to do something.
And since when are women, anyone for that matter - why are they behaving in a “spoiled” manner because of their dependence on someone? Don't think so.
Just think some have to check and see if who they really may have issues with is God and His design of how we are to be interdependent on one another.
Some pretty heavy accusations there, and sounds patronizing in regards to thinking men are doing women a favor filling in these mental/physical deficits that are all part of God's perfect design.
