Just wanted to say that the gasoline/diesel storage for generators can be overcome by acquiring a propane generator and suitable size tank. Propane stores virtually indefinitely and it’s easier on the generator.
I am planning on a retractable 5k watt windmill generator.
I am on the side of a mountain and the wind blows almost constantly.
I figured that it is going to be cheaper since I am looking for long duration capability and then can afford to have another backup generator stashed at another location.,
