You say you're setting this up for the extended period. Unless you plan on secreting an enormous amount of gasoline or diesel your generators are going to run out of fuel. At that point those generators are nothing but scrap to be melted and used for something else. Got blacksmithing experience?
At some point people will be looking. 20 days you say? That means the ones that eventually will make it out to your neck of the woods will be the really nasty ones that survived or a group that is cooperating. More than likely with someone that knows what they're doing.
