The min-pin with one eye, a rescue started a fight with the coon-hound pictured next to him when the hound was a pup. Even though he was a pup he still weighed about 30 pounds and the min-pin was about 13 pounds. Fighting out of one’s weight class is never a good idea.
The other two min-pins are his daughters one of which was actually born in my lap.
The Pomeranian was hit a glancing blow by the car in front of me and when I stopped to check on her she jumped in my car. She had a piece of phone cord tied around her neck and was matted and malnourished so I took her home.
The one in the top row middle is a pit / red-heeler mix which was destined to be put to sleep if not adopted and is the smartest dog I have ever had. He loves to crawl into my lap when I am at my computer desk. Quite a lap dog at 70+ pounds.
It is a real trip as they are all so different but all well loved.
Eaker you are awesome. It sounds like the K9 version of the Waltons! LOL! Thanks so much for sharing.
